When Montreal’s Dany Laj and the Looks saw a real estate listing for a real, live castle for sale in Moncton, New Brunswick, they knew they had to seize the opportunity to see the thing for themselves – and what better occasion to plan their triumphant return to the Maritimes around? Yes, folks, Dany Laj and the Looks are happy to announce that they will be bringing their own memorable brand of ’70s/British-influenced rock’n’roll to East Coast Canada once again. Dany Laj has been tirelessly driving back and forth across Canada with his faithful band, The Looks, at his side. Together Laj, bassist Jeanette Dowling, and drummer Lewis Handford, have been winning over Canadian audiences with infectious power-pop melodies and catchy hooks. Check them out for yourself on the band’s first tour of the year, dates below:

Playing L’Escalier with The Mighty Swells Surf Band!!
Salut/Hi all!!
Yes; its that tome again. The beginning of the month when The Mighty Swells surf band invades L’Escalier for our monthly residency. Tonight, however, is a little different. We play 10:00-12:00 to help kick off Nuit Blanche. The show is free as always so come on down and have blast with some surf music!!!

Mini Ontario run with Dany Laj and The Looks Feb. 7th-13th.
This Friday I hit the road with Dany Laj and The Looks for a few nights in Ontario(North Bay and Gravenhurst) then head to Toronto to work on a little something for all o y’all to check out. Details to follow. . . . . . . . .
If any of you will be around North Bay on February 7th (this Friday) I will be at The Fox and Fiddle. If any of you are in Gravenhurst February 9 (this Sunday), I will be at Curries Music for a very special performance.
